This Baby Safety Fireplace Guard from Clevamama provides a cushioned cover on sharp edges to help cushion your little ones when they fall over (which if they are anything like most babies they will do - a lot!). It comprises of 5 universal sections of 46cm length and is made from an impact absorbing foam which can be cut to your desired length. It also includes 2 large corner pieces which will fit most fireplaces. With full-length double-stick tape, the guard easily adheres to sharp edges and remains securely fastened whilst still being easily and quickly removed when no longer needed. It is fire retardant, non-toxic, latex and phthalates free.

Sound familiar, well this is exactly what working Mums and sisters Martina Delaney and Suzanne Browne found to be the norm when they became parents and setup their company Handy Baby Products Ltd in 2003. Coming from financial backgrounds the nursery industry was as new to us as parenthood however it soon became apparent what helps, what hinders, what's hot and what's not.
