About Bamboo.

As a result of naturally occurring enzymes within the structure of bamboo cells, bamboo crops will never have had any pesticide treatment and unlike other crops do not need fully harvesting and replanting as the crops are merely trimmed allowing new shoots to form for the following harvest season. Being naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic and three times more absorbent than cotton, bamboo fibres guard against chaffing and overheating as well as preventing odours from being trapped and the promulgation of germs and bacteria. Unlike pure cotton or wool, bamboo material is also non abrasive and is therefore ideal for use on infant and newborn skin.
